Guy E. Wine

Guy Edward Wine, 86, died on Sunday, February 26, 2006, at his home. Twice married, he was the husband of the late Nadine Rebecca Feeser, his wife of 32 years; and the late Charlotte "Lottie" Brehm Barnhart, his wife of 17 years. Born April 27, 1919, in Manchester, Md., he was the son of the late Edward M. and Adelia May Hesson Wine. He was a lifelong farmer and had bought his first farm at age 17. He attended Carroll County Public Schools, as well as Hemphill Diesel School in New York City. He attended Bixlers United Methodist Church. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Gerald Edward Wine and his wife, Dora K. Wine of Westminster, Md., Judy N. Wine Myers and her husband, Michael D. Myers of Manchester, Md., and Gail L. Wine Mancha and her fianc<6> Brian Martin of Glen Rock; stepchildren and their spouses, Doris B. and her husband, William McClelland, and Kenneth and Trish Barnhart, all of Westminster; grandchildren, Gerald E. Wine, Jr. and wife, Trudi of Hanover, Clint D. Wine and wife, Tammy of Westminster, Michael E. Cashman and wife, Katie S. Cashman of Manchester, Sandra G. Mancha-Wright and husband, Hearl Lee Wright, Jr. of Westminster, and Brent E. Mancha of Baltimore, Md.; greatgrandchildren, Caitlin and Cori Hutchinson of Hanover, and Crystal, Tiffany, and Jade Wine, all of Westminster; step grandchildren, Scott and Samantha Barnhart, Terri McClelland, Vicki and Jeff Newman, and Bradley and Patricia McClelland; four step great-grandchildren; and one step great-greatgrandchild. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jean Evelyn Wine. Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, Md., at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, with the Rev. Jeffrey Odom officiating. Interment will be in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
