Jim Alagood Obituary
Windsor - Jim E. Alagood, 64, of Lower Windsor Township, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Melanie Ann (Fake) Alagood.
A time of gathering and celebration of life will be held from 2-4 p.m. on August 18, 2018 at The Ninth Ward Republican Club, 126 South Penn Street in York. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mr. Alagood was born in York on August 27, 1953, the son of the late Kathryn (Eppley) Alagood. He retired as a linesman for the York City Electrical Bureau after more than 15 years.
Jim was a member of the Ninth Ward Republican Club, as well as many other social clubs in the York area. He was a member of the Red Lion Sons of the American Legion. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating.
Jim leaves a son, Troy Alagood and a daughter, Holly Briese, both of Windsor; two grandchildren, Jared and Ryan Briese; two sisters, Terry Scott and Donna Alagood; and a brother, Rick Alagood.
