Jonathan Elias Obituary

Jonathan W. Elias
Lewisberry
Jonathan W. Elias, 39, entered into rest on Friday September 23, 2016 at his home.
He was born on June 27, 1977 in Tyrone, PA, the son of William R. Elias of Lewisberry and Colleen R. (Grube) Elias of Dover.
Known to his friends and co-workers as "Jonnie Pockets", Jonathan was a 1995 graduate of Northern High School in Dillsburg and a 1997 graduate of the Golf Academy of the South in Florida. He had a dual degree in golf course management and golf professionalism.
Jonathan had worked in sales for Apple Subaru and Wolfington Bus Company and also as a golf pro at Bulle Rock in Maryland and Teeth of the Dog in the Dominican Republic. He was an avid golfer and Washington Redskins fan. He loved his classic rock music, especially Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead and The String Cheese Incident.
The services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., is assisting with arrangements.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Jennifer L. DeMers; brother-in-law, James DeMers of Newberrytown; maternal grandmother, Frances Grube of Ephrata; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
