Karl was a senior when I came to Eastern College as a freshman. I found him to be friendly, highly intelligent, and if memory serves me, editor of the college yearbook, The Log. Ironically, an article in today's Washingon Post motivated me see if Karl was related to John Fetterman, mayor of Braddock, Pa. My condolences to his family.

My dear friend Barb and family,
Dave and I are so sad to hear of Karl's passing. But you know that heaven is rejoicing!! Karl has been such an important influence on my life...before I was old enough to realize it. The youth in Glen Rock had so many good times with him, all the while he was teaching and guiding us. As an adult, we shared choir memories, Bible studies, dinners together, laughter, tears, worries...what wonderful memories. Dave and I will always cherish the friendship that we have shared with the two of you. Just think Barb, what we have to look forward to...and Karl is there waiting for us.

We love you and pray that Jesus comforts you and your family during this sad time.

It was a pleasure to know this kind man whom my young children called "Uncle Karl". A true servant of God, he is now experiencing the joy of attaining eternal life.

Dear Barb and family,
I was deeply sadden to hear of Karl's passing. He not only married Den and I in 1973 but again in 1998 for our 25th Anniversary, what a special memory. Karl treated me as another daughter as I grew up, since Shelley and I were good friends. I have a lot of fond memories and I'll never forget him.
My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.
In love and prayers,
Dee Tracy
