Kathi was such a sweet sensitive person. I had the pleasure of working with her mother and then met Kathi at the JCC. Over the years I run into her often at the JCC and at the schools where I taught. She was always a kind welcoming person. She and her family are so special to me. Memories of her are held deeply in my heart. You are missed and remembered fondly Kathi.

So very sad. Life's too short. Kathi was a kind person, friendly to all. I first met her at York College and would often see her around York. What a gentle soul. May you all feel peace in the days ahead and be warmed by the memories of a wonderful daughter.

I knew Kathi since I was 15 when I started working in the pool at the YWCA. Over the years we became close friends and we met once a month for dinner. We always had fun. We would show up both wearing pink...like we planned it. She was so thoughtful. She always took pictures wherever we went and I have everyone in an album. Now it has a very special meaning. You will be missed by so so so many people that you met, and touched over your lifetime. Love and miss you so much already my friend!! I will never forget you

Kathi was my friend and personal trainer for many years. She was my biggest cheerleader!
I will miss her smile and her kindness. I don't think there was anything she wouldn't do for you. Rest In Peace Dear Kathi!

I've known Kathi for as long as I can remember. From a child in the preschool classes to a college student working in the after school and summer camp program, I could always rely on Kathi to provide a friendly conversation and a warm hug. She was a dear friend of the family and will be missed immensely. I send my love and prayers to her family and friends during this difficult time.

I remember kathi when my aunt and her worked together. She had my daughter during summer camp and after school care. She would always tell me how she just adored her. Always a smile on her face and just a positive woman. When i walked into jcc this am and saw this i was in disbelief. It will not be the same not seeing you there. You will be dearly missed.

My daughter Aliyah started at the JCC this year in the before and after school program. Ms. Kathi was the first teacher to let me know how Aliyah was adjusting and how well behaved Aliyah is. Aliyah grew to love Ms. Kathi in the past 6-8 weeks; always giving Ms. Kathi a hug before we left at the end of the day. Aliyah made it a point to go and find Ms. Kathi wherever she was in the building. Aliyah asked if Ms. Kathi could be a part of our family. I just wanted you to know on behalf of a 7 year old little girl; Ms. Kathi was loved and will be missed.

Kathi was one of the first friends we had after joining the York JCC in January. She became my personal trainer and while she was professional, it was truly personal. She encouraged me to do more than I ever thought I could and helped me feel we shared the journey together. How I will miss her!

Kathi was such a sweet soul. I knew whenever I saw her she would be bringing a smile to my face and lighting up my day. She said the kindest things to me when I had my daughter and I will never forget her words. If we could all just be a little more like Kathi the world would be a better place.

We are deeply saddened to hear of this beautiful woman's passing. She was so sweet and positive and loved our Adilyn so much and made a point in telling us that many times over. Her smile and bubbly personality will not be forgotten.

We recently met Kathi when signing up for summer camp at the JCC, she and I both felt and mentioned our meeting was truly meant to be. She taught our son swimming lessons and was so in-tune with his skill level and knew just what to do. Our hearts are broken- she was such an incredible person, a bright ray of sunshine. She will be missed.

Kathi was the first one to greet me when I joined the JCC and came back to the fitness center for the very first time. I remember her saying hello with a wonderful, bright smile and saying that she was so glad that I came in. She was the reason why I chose to work there.
We shared a love for all things 80s, I laughed about how she always talked about big hair, discussed Weight Watchers recipes in great length, and when I encouraged her to try more vegetables she would just reply with EWW.
She was quiet until you got to know her, then wouldn't stop gushing about how good her personal training clients were to her, how she loved teaching swim lessons and was super excited to get more colors in her shirts for work since she was phasing out wearing black so much.
It feels so incomplete at the J without her, I look up expecting to see her. I feel like I'm forgetting to do my work because it certainly isn't right to go through a shift without her.
I'm praying for all of the hearts of our dear JCC family, Kathi's sweet friends whom she loved dearly and her parents. Be blessed for knowing her, share that same kindness that she imparted upon you with others. Wear bright pink and think of Kathi. Above all else, know that the imprint she left on us will remain forever.

Gone too soon...Kathi enjoyed working with children. Her face lit up when she talked about her students. She will be missed by many. My heartfelt condolences to her friends and family. RIP Kathi.

Kathi was one of the most positive people I have ever met. Every time I knew she was going to be the substitute in my room I felt a sense of peace. I knew the children would be in loving hands. She always left me with a kind note. :) She will be missed by many. I know her loving spirit will live on in all the lives she touched.

My daughter Denise and I will miss Kathi's warm and bubbly personality. Denise also found a shopping ally in Kathi, and the bantering back and forth about shoes, boots, clothes always delighted them both! We will miss seeing her smiling face in the Fitness Center, and I will also miss our personal chats that centered around life in general, blooming where we are planted, family and friends, and brownies. Our hearts are heavy-so we are trying to concentrate on the shared giggles and laughs to ease the pain. Our most sincere condolences to Kathi's family and friends.
