Shirley,
Gene was a great guy. I remember him from work, and from the places we went to after work, such as the PIAA wrestling finals and numerous trivia pursuit parties that were held by the accountants at work. Gene and I were one of the only non-accountants there. We use to talk often during work.
I also remember when we went golfing just before your grand daughter was born, and when he loaned my son Scott his golf clubs because they were both left-handed
I am very sadden to hear he passed away last May. Thank you for sharing this information with me in your Christmas card. I will try and phone you if I can get your phone number.
Again, my deepest condolences to you and your family. I well say a prayer for him at mass this week.

Gene is my mother Delores' first cousin; but, I always called him my Uncle Gene. One of my happiest memories of him was every family Christmas gathering when he dressed as Santa Claus and all of the children took turns sitting on his lap telling Santa what we wanted for Christmas.
Uncle Gene always had a sparkle in his eyes, a smile on his face and a big hug and kiss for all of us that loved him so very much. He will be terribly missed, forever loved and always hold a special place in my heart.
All my love, Kimmy

My sincere condolences to you & the family. Gene definitely loved his sports. He amazed me how much he knew about all of the young guys from all over York County when it came to basketball & other sports. Keep your fond memories close to your heart as you are going thru this difficult time. Love always Laurie (Kay Louise's daughter)
