Lindsay Ferguson Obituary
York - Lindsay I. Ferguson, 17, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at her residence.
A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Debe Snyder officiating. Visitations will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, both at the funeral home. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Born on March 21, 2001, she was the daughter of David and Tammy (Eckard) Ferguson of York. Lindsay was a student at Central York School District where she was a member of the National Honor Society.
Lindsay enjoyed horses, listening to music and vacationing in Myrtle Beach.
Along with her parents, Lindsay is survived by her grandmothers, Diane Noel and husband, Robert of Hanover and Barbara Ferguson of Hanover; and grandfather Ronald Eckard and wife, Marilyn of Hanover. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Merle Ferguson.

The news of Lindsay's passing moved me deeply and I was devastated that her young life full of so much potential was cut short. She had no idea how special she was. I cannot imagine your grief, and will keep your family in my prayers and in my heart.

As one of Lindsay's teachers, I must admit that she was one of my favorite students. I was very disheartened to hear of her passing. She was an amazing, bright, young lady and she will be greatly missed. Lindsay and her friends and family are in my prayers. -Jessica McCabe
