SO terribly sad to find this obituary. I have been searching for many years to find the family. It has been 40 years since I saw you all. Lisa was a daily joy in my life while I spent time with you. I will never forget her sweet smile and kindness as I struggled with all the changes in my life. I will be forever grateful to her and to your family. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact you. My love, gratitude and sympathies to you all.

Oh! I was looking to connect with Steve an Lisa on Facebook. To my shock I found Lisa had passed on. My deepest love and condolences to her husband and parents and all the family. I served a mission in York and became friends with her. She was wonderful.

I knew Lisa a long time ago when I worked at the Golden Corral in York. I remember her bubbly personality and beautiful smile. I pray that God will help all of you to find peace in your time of loss. I'm thinking of Lisa today, knowing her funeral is being held somewhere in a faraway place.
I first met Lisa when she and her family were members of our ward in Murray, Utah. She was such a delight and always made me laugh! I remember when she taught me how to grab tissue paper with a flourish before putting it into a gift bag. Doing so always makes it look perfect, and I think of her fondly to this day everytime I do it. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve and the rest of her family. Much love,

Steve, Tessa & Clay:
We will miss her laughter the most. Lisa was one of the funniest people we knew. Countless hours were spent just cracking each other up during our trips to Utah, NYC, YCDS productions & just hanging out on the couch. We will & have always treasured those memories. Lisa was such a fabulous influence on Luke. She has a huge part in the man he is today.
We will be forever grateful to you guys & our dear Lisa.

My sincere condolences to John, Terry and family, as well as, Lisa's husband and children. Lisa was one of my best friends growing up in the York area. I was glad to have had the chance to visit with her just a little over a year ago after 31 years. I wish I could come home for her funeral, but will have to be content with paying my respect in other ways. May the Lord be with the Grove/Samuelsen family at this time.

Lisa had a laugh that I will never forget. One of my favorite memories with Lisa is when she picked me up in her alpha romeo. She knew I loved cars and made the trip from her house to mine and we went driving for about an afternoon. During the ride a Prince song came on and she made a cute joke about it being a satanic song. We laughed and laughed. I am so sad she is gone.
