Lynn D. Brown

YORK Lynn D. Brown, 62, died Wednesday August 1, 2007, at his home. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a 10 a.m. memorial service at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St., with the Rev. Skip Spangler officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Mr. Brown was born January 29, 1945, in York, a son of the late Leonard and Vivian (Slaybaugh) Brown. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in York. He was an independent insurance agent, and later was employed in catering and at the West Side Steakhouse. Mr. Brown is survived by two children, Holly Smith of Dover, and Christopher Brown of Richmond, Va.; three grandchildren, Christopher Brown II, Victoria Brown, and Jacob Smith; a sister Karen Lattuca of York; and a close personal friend Amy Barbour.
