Matthew Zerphey Obituary
York - The gates of Heaven opened and God called home one of his special Angels, Matthew W. Zerphey on July 6, 2020. He was born on August 22, 1986, in York. With his big smile, his sense of humor, and laughter he brought so much joy to all those who were to privileged to know him. Matthew attended Shadowfax Day Program. He loved Disney movies, and their music. He loved classical music, especially the Nutcracker Suite. He also enjoyed bowling, long hair, ketchup and M&M's, he had a large collection of M&Ms memorabilia.
Matthew leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Karen Zerphey; a brother, Lee Zerphey; an aunt, Cindy Zimmerman of Lancaster; an uncle, John Zerphey of Montoursville; Nana Ginny Zimmerman of Lititz; and his Shadowfax Family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Winfield and Maryjane Zerphey.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Lancaster at a later date. In Matthews memory, lets all do random acts of kindness to help keep his light alive.
