Norman Brenneman Obituary

YORK Norman C. Brenneman, 76, of Springettsbury Township, went to be with the Lord on Friday afternoon, April 24, 2009, while at his daughter's residence. Born May 19, 1932, in West York, a son of the late Chester M. and Gladys M. (Dentler) Brenneman, he retired in 1997 from KBA Motter Corporation after 48 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Encounters, Spring Grove, and a member of the Korean War Veterans Association No. 178. He was a devoted family man who loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandsons. Mr. Brenneman is survived by his wife of 55 years, Annamary E. (Kelly) Brenneman of York; a son, Norman D. Brenneman and his wife, Vicki of Harrisburg; two daughters, Carolyn S. Brenneman of York, and Ann L. Kerrison and her husband, David of Spring Grove; 10 grandchildren; three greatgrandsons; and a sister, Barbara J. Baughman of Mt. Wolf. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, with his son-inlaw and pastor, the Rev. David E. Kerrison, officiating. Viewing will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
