Wernersville
R. Jeffrey Leiphart, 62, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Wernersville State Hospital of natural causes.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with the Rev. Beth Schlegel officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
Born August 29, 1954 in York, he was a son of Robert E. and S. Jean (Straub) Leiphart of Red Lion. He was a 1973 graduate of Red Lion High School.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by two brothers, David E. Leiphart of Windsor and Brian K. Leiphart and his wife, Karen of Red Lion and numerous nieces and nephews.
Casual dress is permitted at Jeff's Celebration of Life.

Jeff was a sweet boy. I hadn't seen him since high school. He often walked me home from school and carried my books. He was a good friend. I'm sorry to hear of his passing

Jeff was a sweet person - knew him thru my brothers (chuck & mike sueck) One thing I do remember was he really loved his Mach 1. that was his baby. Your family are in our prayers.
