Ian Forry Obituary
Windsor
Ian M. Forry, 24, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at York Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. A visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Mt. Rose Cemetery with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
Born October 19, 1993 in York, he was the son of Mark E. and Karen D. (Gray) Forry of York. He graduated from York County School of Technology in 2012. He immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps serving four years active duty, including in Afghanistan.
He was employed with Wagman Heavy Civil as a construction laborer.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Starview Sportsman's Club. He also enjoyed spending time with his Dad in the garage.
Ian is also survived by a sister, Breanne A. Forry of Newtown; paternal grandparents, Larry and Joann Forry; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Suzanne Gray; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

Karen and Mark,
There are no words to express how much sadness we are feeling for you both. Ian was a huge part of our lives when the boys were young and I can remember that goofy kid so vividly running around my house and how we would talk and laugh together when you would pick him up. He will always be in our hearts! RIP Bean!

I will always remember the sweet, funny little boy who spent hours making me smile. Ian and Evan spent so many hours together as children. I can still see them laughing in the pool, dressing up as cowboys and being goofy together. He brought so much joy to our lives. We will keep you in our prayers.

Breaks my heart to see this. I'm sorry for your loss. I remember Ian from elementary school we both went to the Dimoffs house before and after school. Him and Casey use to show me how to play pokemon and we played all kinds of games before and after school. I will cherish those memories with your son. He was always nice polite and respectful.
