Julia Kauffman

Wrightsville - Julia A. Kauffman, 90, of Wrightsville, died on July 31, 2018. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Kauffman, before his death they celebrated 68 years of marriage. Born in Wrightsville on December 23, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Laura Edna (Keller) Stoner.

Julia retired from Wyeth Laboratories where she inspected medicine. She enjoyed family dinners, reading and watching old movies.

Julia is survived by her daughter Gail Sheppard and her husband Howard of Mt. Joy; two sisters, Dorothy Leithiser of Columbia and Audrey Wagaman of York; four nieces Julia Ely and her husband Henry of Wrightsville, Diane McCullogh and her husband Chester of Columbia, Marsha Bergan and her husband Thomas of Lakeland, FL and Sharon Pennell and her husband Steve of Wrightsville; one nephew William H. Stoner, Jr. and his wife Jacqui of Willow Street. She was preceded in death by two sisters Marguerite Stough, Janet Stoner and a brother William H. Stoner, Sr.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Etzweiler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 700 Hellam Street, Wrightsville. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wrightsville Hope United Methodist Church, 404 Hellam Street, Wrightsville, PA 17368.
