Steven David Kinneman, 58, entered into rest at 11:39 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Sonja E. (Smith) Kinneman. They celebrated their first wedding anniversary on June 22, 2017.
Born May 17, 1959 in York, Steven was a son of the late Clarence A. and Margaret R. (Downey) Kinneman.
Steven installed garage doors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and darts.
He attended Pathway Community Church and was also a member of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by a son, Zachary David Kinneman of York; two step-sons, Herbert Stauffer and Chad Nogle; a step-daughter Tracie Wigginton; eight step-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael L. Kinneman of Mechanicsburg. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Kinneman; and two sisters, Barbara Meckley and Eugenie McGlaughlin.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Steven's memorial service at 1:30 p.m. and the visitation from 1 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Pathway Community Church, 1731 W. Philadelphia St., York. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Adin Herndon. Emig Funeral Home, Dover, is serving his family.
