HIGH POINT — Beverly (Anne) Babson Sanders, beloved Wife, Mother, Nana, Aunt, Daughter, Nurse and Friend, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025 in High Point, NC surrounded by her loved ones. Her daughter was holding her hand as she took her last breath. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Sanders Roberts (Christopher Roberts,) her grandsons, Matthew Sanders Roberts (Lauren Watson Roberts) and Elijah Christopher Roberts (Ashley Marie Leonard) and her nephew Lynn Johnson (Tina Johnson) as well as cousins and other loved ones. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 55 years, Ernest Leonard Sanders, her parents, Earl Pratt Babson and Gertrude Barnes Babson and her sister, Brenda Babson Johnson.
Beverly is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and of Pfeiffer University, where she earned Masters Degrees in both Business Administration and Healthcare Administration. After retiring as a Chief Nursing Officer from FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham, NC, Beverly joined CR Legal Team in Greensboro, NC as a Special Projects Manager. In that role, she worked with her daughter to create an Employee Wellness Program that focused on the physical, emotional, spiritual and occupational wellness of CR Legal Team Members.
Beverly loved travelling with her family and would often talk about how fortunate she was to travel to five continents with her grandchildren. She was passionate about her family and loved spending time with them playing cards, going to movies, cooking together or just sitting together and laughing. In her final days, Beverly spoke about her life and what a blessing her life had been. She let her family know that she would not change a thing. She died as she had lived – with grace and surrounded by love. She will be forever loved and forever missed.

Kim, just saw this about Beverly, so very sorry for your loss and so very sorry we weren´t there in person to offer our condolences. We loved Beverly and Leonard. We talk so fondly of the time we were at a conference together in San Diego and your Dad took Tommy to Tijuana. Beverly was so welcoming when Tommy and I first started working at Richmond Memorial. Our sincerest condolences. Tommy and Gayle Cook
