ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Sarah Marlene "Tink" Martin Dunn, 79, of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at Genesis Eldercare of Salisbury.
Born Oct. 5, 1935 in Richmond County, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Edna Lassiter and Leonard Leroy Martin.
Ms. Dunn was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Rockingham. She loved the outdoors and working with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Dunn; and brother, Kenneth Dean Martin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brothers, Larry Martin of Carolina Beach, Eddie Martin of Spencer, Robert Mike Martin of Rockwell; sisters, Elaine Kluttz of Cleveland, Shirley Smith of Reidsville, Faye Brown and Gwen Renetta, both of Faith; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Northam Cemetery in Rockingham with the Rev. Jim Vickrey officiating.
Lyerly Funeral Home is serving the Dunn family.

I DID NOT GET TO COME BACK AND SEE SARAH AFTER I LEFT FROM THERE BUT SHE WAS A REALLY SWEET PERSON. THERE WAS NO ONE THAT DID NOT LIKE HER. SHE WILL BE MISSED, AND I AM PRAYING FOR THE FAMILY
