ESTHER WHITE Obituary

ESTHER WHITE Esther White, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and compassionate nurse, passed away peacefully at her home in Glen Rose, Texas, on October 11, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on September 22, 1945, Esther dedicated her life to caring for others, both professionally and personally. She worked as a nurse in Glen Rose for over 20 years, spending most of her career in long-term care, compassionately serving elderly patients with Alzheimer's and dementia. Her deep empathy and tireless dedication touched countless lives. Esther was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Joe Shultz and Francis Shultz, and her parents, Anabel and Joseph (Jay) Ellis. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Randolph White, who cherished and cared for her with unwavering devotion. She also leaves behind her three sons, Steve Phillips, Jerry Phillips, and Bobby Phillips, as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A woman of enduring faith, Esther was raised in a Christian home and remained steadfast in her beliefs throughout her life. As her health allowed, she recently found joy and fellowship attending services at River's Church in Glen Rose. A memorial service to celebrate Esther's life will be held on Saturday, October 25 at 1:00 p.m. at River's Church in Glen Rose, Texas. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is at peace and surrounded by the love she so freely gave to others throughout her life.

It saddens me greatly that I will no longer get to see Esther every week to do her hair. I will miss her so much. She always brought me a handful of werthers caramel candies when she would come in, of course that´s not why I will miss her, she´s a wonderful person. My heart goes out to the family. Love you Esther!
