Linda Segars Obituary
Linda graduated from McAlester High School and received her college degree from Northeastern State University. She worked for many years at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital as a nuclear med tech.
On January 11, 1987, her son John McKenzie was born in Okmulgee. He was her world. They shared their love for animals and raised many dogs together over the years.
Linda was a fun and outgoing individual. She enjoyed being with her friends that loved her dearly. She was known for her green thumb and loved growing plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, John McKenzie Segars.
Linda is survived by numerous cousins and her dear friends she considered family.
Viewing took place from 12-2 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday November 14, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Craighton officiating.
Interment followed at Okmulgee Cemetery.
