MARTHA BRAMLETT Obituary

MARTHA BRAMLETT 04/06/1943 - 11/21/2025 Martha Ellen Yancy Bramlett, 82, went home to Jesus on November 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Born in Morgan Mill, Texas, to Albert and Arbie Yancy, Martha was a fierce competitor on the basketball court, a proud member of Stephenville Athletic Hall of Fame, and a trailblazer who played college ball at Waylon Baptist before earning her degree from University of Iowa. In 1963 she married the love of her life, William Bramlett, and together they built a beautiful life filled with adventure, faith, and family. Martha was a devoted homemaker, a steadfast supporter through every move William's career demanded, and a warm, welcoming presence who always kept an extra chair at the table for company. Her greatest joy was teaching children the Bible and loving her family fiercely. She leaves behind her beloved husband William; daughters Sara Pybus (David) and Kelli Bramlett (Shawn Clarke); grandchildren Claire Pybus Acosta (Rafael), Will Pybus, Kaia Montgomery, Aiden Clarke, and Ainsley Clarke; great-grandson Rafael Roman Acosta; and a host of cherished friends and relatives. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Glenna Hoskins and Don Yancy. She will be remembered for her bright smile, open door, and the quiet strength that held her family together. For the last three decades that includes the church family at Cross Timbers Church of Christ. Well done, sweet Martha - rest in the arms of the Savior you loved so much.
