Burton Schapiro Obituary
Burton Donald Schapiro, age 74, of Yuma, AZ, passed away Mar. 9, 2025 Onvida.
Burton, an Audioprosthologist at Miracle-Ear Center, was born Aug. 13, 1950 in Flushing, NY.
Funeral Service will be held at Yuma Mortuary Chapel on Mar. 17, 2025 at 10:30 am, with Burial to follow at noon at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Arrangements were entrusted to and handled by Yuma Mortuary and Crematory.

Burt was such a good friend and helpmate at Miracle-Ear, a truly great human being. I send my best to Burt's family.

Barbara and I were saddened to hear about my cousin Burt's passing. We extend our sympathy and condolences to his wife, and to our cousins Alan, Mara and Asher. I have fallen out of contact with most of the extended family since I moved to an isolated mountain ranch years ago, but receive delayed reports of everyone's activities through my parents and siblings.
The news of Burt's passing was sorely received. My numerous memories of Burt are all positive and have not diminished over time. I have always appreciated his jovial and gregarious manner, and I will cherish my relationship with Burt forever.
Burt was 25 years old when I was born. One of the things about Burt that was especially endearing was that he always treated me like an adult, even when I was a small child. I grew up respecting him as a family member who could be trusted to tell me his unvarnished opinion, to share his heartfelt advice, and to end our conversations with a positive spin and his trademark smile.
