Charles Kirk Obituary
Charles B "Gus" Kirk passed away on February 24, 2014. He was born in Santa Monica, Ca on March 22, 1950 to Mel and Dorothy Kirk.
He is survived by his two sons, Richard and Tommy; a sister, Jacque Armstrong and a brother Marshall Kirk. He also had 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He lived and worked in Yuma for 35 years. He was a contractor and owner of Kirk Enterprises which was a cabinet shop. Many people would say he was the best cabinet maker with attention to detail that only he would see.
He loved bird hunting which he did for many, many years with his friends and family. He also loved the Yuma desert but only in the winter. Another one of his passions was riding his Harley with his very good friend Kenny Murdock. They would ride all over Arizona, California and Colorado.

Service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Mohawk Valley Community Christian Church, 39th Street in Roll, Arizona 9:00am.

Yo, Gus!
We would talk about life, here, on God's good earth, and decide it really didn't matter how long we lived, not really. 60 or 70 years seems like a long time, but we know it isn't. 60 or 70 years does not even compare to eternity, does it? You know now. You know everything now. Now you see clearly those things that we, who have faith, can only imagine through our faith.
I will always remember riding north on Hwy 247 between Apple Valley and Barstow at 80 miles an hour, in the desert, no cars, just bikes, in front of everybody else..... way in front. That was a fine day.
I always did enjoy watching you tie down your bags, before riding, and we'd give you a hard time. "Nautical", you would say.
We never did ride to the Arctic Circle, did we? So, now I know, we can't put those things off, especially when the "doing" involves a good friend.
You were a good friend and I always enjoyed your phone calls and Kim and I are so happy that you came to visit, last Summer.
I will tell my friends about you and I will miss you, my good friend.
