Deon served in the U.S. Navy and was a Quality Control Manager. He was born Apr. 5, 1930 in Osmond, WY.
Private Cremation and Arrangements were entrusted to and handled by Sunset Vista Funeral Home and Cemetery.

Deon was born in Wyoming to a Sheep herding family and spent his early life growing up in the Utah and Wyoming area, where he helped his family in sheep herding and farming until he joined the Navy at the age of 18, he served during the Korean War where he suffered an injury and was medically discharged, Deon himself would describe this part of his life as the best part of his life where he got to experience many parts of the world, Deon was an avid Off-roader and enjoyed the desert but mostly had a soft spot for the Baja where he raced and was part of the pit crew in the 1000, 500, and, ,250. Deon retired from IVAC as a quality control manager and lived his golden years with his family and enjoyed golfing with his friends, camping, and taking in the sunsets with a beer and his tobacco pipe , Family was always first for Deon never asked for anything but only gave, he will be sorely missed by his family he has left behind his 4 Children, many Grand Children and many Great Grand Children, he is survived by his 2 younger siblings, his memory and all his love will live on through us all.
