Dona was the beloved wife of Quaid Smith, who recently passed away, and a cherished mother to Terry Smith, Tammy Shirazi, and Tommy Smith, who is married to Venise Smith. She was also a loving grandmother to Tabitha Shirazi and Tommie Leadlove-Misner.

Dona was a respected entrepreneur in Yuma, where she owned and operated Yuma Hearing Aids, a business that helped many in the community. Her work not only provided essential services but also demonstrated her commitment to improving the lives of others.

Her hobbies included sitting in her sunroom doing needlework, where she enjoyed the serene view of cows grazing in the meadow in Rociada, NM. Dona was also a devoted member of several fraternal organizations, including the Order of the Eastern Star, the Order of Amaranth, the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Order of the Beauceant. These affiliations reflect her dedication to community service and her passion for charitable work.
