I will always be grateful to have had a great frienship with John and so did Roger. He was a wonderful caring man, with that infectious smile and the dimple or cleft, whatever it's called, in his chin.
He was involved in many charitable works in Yuma. He was always ready to whatever he could to make the event successful. He always appreciated all the care packages of food that I gave him. He asked me to make little mini loaves for Kaylee at Thanksgiving and Christmas so they would be much easier for her to handle. He was a good father and so proud of them. I think Jeron has all the good traits of John. God bless all the family and keep them in our prayers through this terrible loss. I'll always love him. Miss you my friend.

Although we haven't seen him in many years, we hold dear the shared laughs, trips, parties, concerts, Ship Captian Crew games, OTL tournaments and beers we shared with John. We feel so lucky to have known a genuinely good guy. Carmen he was so fortunate to have you in his life and I am hopeful the memories each of us share will bring a little comfort to you and his family. When my husband worked for him we would bring our daughter to different events and he would tease her about her fear of clowns and then make her laugh from the belly. Jeron you were much younger and we didn't know you really but your dad spoke so fondly of you. When we had our first son we named him Jaren, your dad was so pleased. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

John was one of the genuine good guys. Kind words, a smile and a heartfelt commitment to our community is what I remember about him. Seeing him was always rewarding at anytime in his life. (And by the way, Dave Sellers, I was one of those that John converted from Coors Lite to Bud Lite.)

John was one of the nicest people I ever met and I feel blessed to have been able to call him my friend. I have not seen John in many years, but I have wonderful memories of many softball tournaments, barbeques, swimming at the river, etc. I'll never forget the night we were coming back from a softball tournament in El Centro. There were several us riding in the Budweiser van & we ran out of gas about 5 miles from Winterhaven at 2:00am! We just thought it was hysterical. Or the time the old gang camped out at the river one night. John brought along a Budweiser canoe, and all the guys tried to paddle their wany home to Yuma the next day. By the time they arrived at Riverside Park, they were all covered with scratches & had lossed the ice chest! We laughed til tears ran down our cheeks. I'm not sure I've ever met a nicer, friendly man then John Boemer. He was the definition of class. Rest in Peace, John, you deserve it. My thoughts go out to John and his entire family during this time. May your memories help you through this time of loss.

My favorite memories of John have to be when I was little, John would come over to my house with every intention to talk with my dad or take naps in between his otl games & would end up playing "dollies" with me on the floor instead... It was a sight to see, big tough Johnny B playing with little barbies on our living room floor with tiny little me. John was one of the greatest men I have ever known and I can not even begin express how much i will miss him. He was full of laughter and love. He will forever have a very special place in my heart & I know he is up in heaven now drinking a Budweiser and watching over all of us, especially those at the office. John, I love you, I miss you & thank you for everything you have done.

I didn't know you, but I think I would of liked you.
From hearing so much about you.
From so many who knew you.
How people adored you.
How people liked you.
How people respected you.
From all the Yumans who knew.
The real you.
The charitable you.
The jock you.
The fun you.
The son you.
The Father you.
The friend you.
The husband you.
For I know your wife, Carmen, who
Spoke often and so highly of you.
Honored and respected you.
Cherished and loved you.
Worried about you.
Rushed home to you.
And stood by you.
And you should know that Carmen's gym friends will be the glue
That holds her together for you
As she is really going to miss you.
In heaven may your body and mind be brand new.
I didn't know you but I think I would of loved you.

I am so lost for words about John's passing. He gave me my first job at a Beer Distributer and for him I had 16 wonderful years in the business in Yuma and in Phoenix. John, Bob and Peg were the most wonderful people I have ever met and they raised a wonderful son. John you will never be forgotten in my eyes and may you rest in peace. One day we will meet again. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

Sincere condolences to john's family and close friends. It has been many years since myself and friends have seen John, but we all played football, golf, and cards with john at kofa high school and will always remember his friendship and his laugh. He was a very outgoing person who loved life and always looked at the positive things in any situation. Some of our best memories are playing golf with john and friends at the Yuma Country Club on Saturdays after helping him unload train cars at Sun Valley Beverage. He was very charitable and made lives better for many in to the Yuma area. Rest in peace John and save a tee time for us when we join you. Your friends, Phillip Cano, PG Cavazos, and Artie Garcia.

I am so saddened to hear about John. I remember well when we took care of him for a few months when he was a baby and Peg had back surgery. Even though I haven't seen him in years, I always had a soft spot in my heart for him. You guys were always like family to us and your parents were so kind to my mom. We were so sorry to hear of John's death. Unfortunately we are unable be there for the funeral. Many great memories of the 12 years we were able to spend with John and other dear friends in Yuma. My first and fondest memory of John is when he introduced himself to me on our first night in Yuma, on the softball field, of course. Our OTL and Softball times together will never be forgotten. Those truly were "the best of times". Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of John's family and his close friends.
