Kenneth Reynolds Obituary

Kenneth Paul Reynolds

January 18, 1937 - July 29, 2024

Ken was born to Charles F. Reynolds and Alice Fowler Reynolds in Livonia, Missouri. He considered Missouri his home state, although he traveled to and lived in many states with his parents.

They moved to Arizona in the 50's where Ken attended Phoenix Union High School. He graduated from Casa Grande High School in 1955 and from Arizona State University in 1960.

For 38 years, he loved his job with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Airways Transportation System Specialist. He loved his church, First Christian, and served in many capacities: deacon, elder, Sunday School teacher, Missions Team and choir member, etc.

He enjoyed greeting people at the door on Sunday mornings.

Ken loved music, art, people, animals, and all of God's creation. He loved traveling with Peggy and their puppy Joy in the RV and camp hosting. He enjoyed spending summers in the White Mountains.

Ken is greatly missed by his wife of 41 years, Peggy, and children: David (Beth) Reynolds, Karen (Thatcher) Furgerson, Kendra Reynolds, Kathy Reynolds, Jeff (Chrissy) Myal, Troy (Kori) Myal, and Mary K. Myal, his "almost daughters", Robin (Chad) Courtney and Jeannie (Andy) Habegger, as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Lee (Margy) Wraith and precious nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church Missions or the Humane Society of Yuma.

A celebration of life service will be held at First Christian Church, 3261 S. Avenue 6E, Yuma,

Arizona, 85365 on November 16th 2024 at 1:00 pm.

Sorry to hear that this wonderful man is gone. I knew Ken through church and I always loved what a kind and thoughtful man he was, always thinking of others. He and Peggy made such a great impact on the lives of people they served. I pray God´s comfort on Peggy and family. We know Ken is in a better place.

Grew up with Jeff, Troy and Mary K in the cul-de-sac and always remembered Ken as a very nice man who loved and cared for his family. My thoughts and prayers for Peggy and their family.
