Lavon Evans Taylor, age 95, passed away Feb. 9, 2022 in Yuma, AZ. A Teacher, born Dec.21, 1926 in Safford, Arizona.
Visitation/Viewing will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Feb 26, 2022 from 9:30am to 10:30am with Funeral Service from 10:30am to 11:30am.
Burial will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
Arrangements handled by John Wesley Taylor.

Remembering LaVon with deepest appreciation for her dedication and devotion to serving migrant students at YUHS in the '80s. Lavon was an exceptionally kind and understanding counselor who guided all her students into making decisions based on their goals, values and culture. She was asset to the Migrant Education Program and joyful person to all who crossed her path in this life. A strong and courageous example of living a good life.

Jim, David, and the entire Taylor family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your sweet mother.
