Thirty six years ago you said, "John your a better man than that." Referring to my struggle with cocaine. It took me a few years to realize the truth in that statement. You believed in me when I didn't and I believed in you when you didn't. "Memory knows before knows remembers," another quote from someone from Mississippi. My memories of you and your belief in me remain. I love you like a brother. Say hello to Woo and Tree for me. I am not in a hurry to join you, but I sure hope I do. Next time I am in Casa Grande I am going to have a bean burro enchilada style and a large Coca cola at Little Sombrero and imagine you are there with me as we have done so many times. I fished and hunted with you many times...I have so many great memories of you...I am going to sign off now and cry like a man who lost a brother. I love you Michael Gilbert and I always will. I still see you as the young child coming to the Scott swimming pool just to worry and splash me and Nina Jo!! I'll never forget those times with you, Stephen, and Nina Jo. Summer fun in Mayberry!! Rest easy, my friend, and we will visit again someday. Love you.

Michael,
Your at peace and are now home... I enjoyed smoking cigars with you on your patio. The fish stories that we each had, and watching Vincent and Jordan run around at play.
I will miss you, but will never forget you. See you in the afterlife, bud.
Ralph
