Robert (Bobby) Gonzales, 87 entered into eternal peace on Sunday, July 24, 2022, in Yuma, Arizona. Bobby was born in Gadsden, Arizona on July 12, 1935, to the late Pedro (Pete) and Beatrice Gonzales.

Bobby had a love for roping, farming, water skiing and camping. He was always the happiest riding horseback around the farm. He was a cowboy from the beginning to the end. His love and passion for roping began at an early age roping goats with his neighbor Howard Daniels. Bobby won numerous Team Roping events with his friends and family, and he was always there to show his support. Bobby's second love was Farming, he was a grower for Pasquinelli and 4-M Farms for many years. He also owned and operated Gonzales Brothers along with his brothers and son. Bobby could drive by a field and tell you exactly what it needed; he truly had an eye for produce. After retiring Bobby continued irrigating for himself and all his neighbors. He loved to plant a seed and watch it grow.

He is survived by his children Dolly (Billy) Kennedy, Robby Gonzales, and Kimberly (Chris) Edington. He was the oldest of 7 children, he is survived by brothers; Art (Janet) Gonzales, Richard Gonzales, Steve (Cheryl) Gonzales, Sisters; Hortense (Tony) Mendez, Henrietta (Dave) Franklin and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Pete and Beatrice Gonzales and sister Cecilia Shaddy.

Bobby will be greatly missed by many and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Private services will be held at a later date.

The Farmer knows just what to do, for God has given him understanding. The Lord of Heavens Armies is a wonderful teacher and he gives the farmer great wisdom. Isaiah 28:26, 29
