There is an old saying that a man is never truly gone; that he remains alive in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. That being the case Bob will be around for a long time.
Brian: do not morn your fathers passing, instead rejoice his life. Remember the good times, the advice he gave when you were twenty, which you did not heed until you were thirty five. These are the kind of things that will hopefully help heal the pain and make reminisces pleasant.
