Ronald Edward Rector, 76 years old, passed away on December 15, 2024 at his home in the presence of his sons and his female companion JoAnn Gamnis.

He was born January 23, 1948 in Elwood, IN to Edward and Margie (Scott) Rector.

Ron was a 1966 graduate of Noblesville High School and earned his Applied Science Associate degree in 1977 at AWC.

Ron served his country in the United States Army beginning in 1970 and was stationed at Yuma Proving Ground in 1971. He became a DoD civil service employee at YPG in 1974 and retired in 1999. He returned to work at YPG as a contractor from 2003 to 2015.

Ron married Norma Alicia Pena in 1973. In his much younger years he enjoyed motorcycle dirt bike racing, fishing, and camping. His trips back to Indiana for family and friends visits, also including Kings Island that was always the place to go to with his Indiana family.

Ron is survived by his sons, Brandon Rector, Ronald Rector Jr.; his sister, Shannon Stevenson; brother Jason Rector; grandchildren, Lexi Rector, Kali Rector, Kaiden Rector, Chase Rector Warner, Bella Rector, Isaac Enriquez, Mickayla Puccini; and several nieces, nephews, great and great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Norma, his daughter Vivian Lazette Rector Rodriguez and brother Michael A. Rector.
