Summer Hailey Juan

1997 - 2025

Summer Hailey Juan was born on March 20, 1997 in Yuma, AZ to Charles Juan and Valerie McKay. She was raised on the Quechan Indian Reservation. She was 28 years old.

She attended Bill Manes High School. She enjoyed listening to music and jamming out. She was known for always having head phones in her ears blasting out the latest hits. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Summer is survived by her infant son, Elijah; sisters, Olivia and Stacee Juan, Amanda Twist; brothers, Matthew Juan, Ray and Chris Zapata. She has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Juan; mother, Valerie McKay; paternal grandmother, Charlene Emerson, and her maternal grandmother Darlene Achin.

Pallbearers include: Matthew and Charles Juan, Ray and Chris Zapata, Devon and Andrei Lopez, Loren Emerson Jr., Boyd Hill Jr., Steven Hill, Ryan and Shane Takala, Mickey Scott, Preston Scott, Jason Lomaintewa, Sr., Brian Talaswaima, Issac Collins, Elias Collins, Sr., Cliffton Fierro, James and Sergio Barton Jose Mata, Brandon Durand, Malachi Allen, Robert and Nathaniel Emerson Jr., Keith Emerson, Michael Salinas.

Visitation will be held on May 17, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with Memorial Services beginning at 3:00 pm.

Traditional Services will begin at 5:00 pm at the Quechan Cemetery. Cremation will be May 18, 2025 at 5:00 am.
