Trina K. Stevens

1971 - 2014

Trina K. Stevens, 43, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Yuma Regional Medical Center after a heart attack. She was born March 20, 1971 in Yuma. Trina grew up in Somerton and attended O. L. Carlisle. She was a homemaker and loved tending to her children. Trina was a fun, loving mother, a one of a kind sister, and an outstanding daughter. She loved her kids and family very much.

Trina is survived by her mother, Arlene Padilla; sisters, Winona Stevens, Hilda Stevens, and Star Padilla, all of Somerton, AZ; sons, Vincent Golding and Matthew Golding of Winterhaven, CA, Timothy Stevens, Thomas Evans, and Damien Stevens of Somerton, AZ; daughters, Lucretia Golding of Winterhaven, CA and Angel Stevens of Somerton, AZ; 4 grandchildren; 4 nieces; 4 nephews; and numerous cousins. Trina was preceded in death by grandmother, Lillian Slim; aunt, Chrissy Ornelas; uncles, Desi Ornelas, Brent Slim, and Jerrold Stevens.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a service following at 3:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel, 795 W. 28th Street, Yuma. Tribal Rights services will follow at 5:00 p.m. at West Cocopah. Cremation will be at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
