Clifford Patterson Obituary

MCCONNELSVILLE: Clifford D. Patterson, 93, of 8570 St. Rt. 37, Malta passed away at 9:13 p.m. August 23, 2010 at the Genesis Good Samartian Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was born January 1, 1917 in Morgan County to the late Elmer Patterson and Cassie Price Patterson.
He worked for the Ohio Dept of Transportation and was a farmer. He was a member of the Deerfield Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his daughter, Ruth Quaranta of Naples, Florida; and one son, Roy (Janice) Patterson of McConnelsville; five grandchildren, Tim Patterson, Julie Brumbaugh, John R. Patterson, Valerie Bell, and Anthony Quaranta; four great grandchildren, Emma Hook, Rebekah Brumbaugh, Cassie Bell, and Christopher Bell; several nieces and nephews, caretakers, Patti Burch and Jane Blackburn, and his loving dog, Gus.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Patterson who died October 11, 2004; and two brothers, LeEldon and Franklin Patterson.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 Thursday , Aug 26, 2010 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Morrison officiating. Burial will be in the Deerfield Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Genesis Hospice 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or the Deerfield Presbyterian Church c/o Lucille Westfall 4533 St Rt 37 Malta, Ohio 43758.
