Diana R. Fowler

FOREST: Diana R. Fowler, 41, of Forest, passed away at 2:50 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

She was born on June 16, 1972 to Richard "Rick" and Linda (Hobzek) Taylor in Ft. Benning, GA. On April 5, 2008 she married Gerald D. Fowler and he survives.

She is also survived by her parents: Rick and Linda Taylor, Temperance, MI; her sons: Robert and William Abele both of Stockport, OH; her daughters: Jeannette, Megan and Regan Fowler all of Fostoria; a brother, Matthew Taylor of St. Joseph, MI; mother-in-law, Mary Fowler of Sparta, GA; sisters-in-law: Roxanne Altman, Bonnie Taylor, Angela Widner; brother-in-law, Victor Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Fowler; maternal grandparents, William and Anna Hobzek; paternal grandparents, Harold and Esther Taylor.

Diana graduated from Athens High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ohio University. She was a member of the Trinity Full Gospel Church in Zanesville, OH. Diana loved being outdoors and was very athletic. She was also very conscience of her diet. Along with her husband, she was the Co-Pastor at the Open Door Family Worship Center in Fostoria and for two years, she was the Direct Care for MRDD and a manager for a year. Diana's children and the church were the light of her life. Her love for God was her identity.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Blanchard Avenue Pentecostal Church of God, Findlay. Bishop Terry Rowland will officiate. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Cemetery, East of Findlay.
