NEW LEXINGTON: Garry Lyons, 65, of New Lexington, Ohio died at 3:15am on Wednesday, July 03, 2013 at his home.
Garry was born, October 01, 1947 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Gerold and Leanna M. Huffman Lyons.
Garry was a Mechanic/Maintenance worker for Ludowici Roof Tile Inc.in New Lexington. He was member of the New Lexington Bible Church and New Lexington Eagles #2070.
Garry liked to fish, work on motors and spend time with his friends at the Eagles.
Survived by wife, Linda Miller Lyons of the home; son, Garry Lyons II of Roseville; daughter, Brandie Love of Crooksville; stepson, Jerry Starner of New Lexington; special granddaughter, Michelle Starner of Morgan County; grandsons, Garry Lyons III, Chaz and Dilan Love and Dustin Starner; brothers, B. L. Lyons of Crooksville and Jimmy Driggs; sister, Connie of New Lexington; his buddy and brother-in law, Terry (Marty) Miller.
In addition to his parents, preceded in death by his grandparents, Beaulah and Burdette Fitzpatrick Sr. and Leonard and Pearl Lyons.
At his request no calling hours will be held and a graveside service, Eagles service and burial will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 05, 2013 with Pastor Steve Byrd officiating at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington, Ohio in charge of arrangements.
