Herbert Hamby Obituary
DRESDEN: Herbert Dale Hamby 87 of Dresden passed away on Tuesday May 17, 2016 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. Herbert was born February 25, 1929 in Black Run, OH a son of the late Charles and Vorda Taylor Hamby. He worked as a millwright and electrician for Gould Battery.
Herbert is survived by his wife Bernice Crozier Hamby; three daughters Linda (Larry) Mullins of Dresden, Sandra (Harley) Hamrick of North Augusta, SC and Betsy (Larry) Frick of Dresden; one brother Robert Hamby of San Diego, CA; one sister Margaret Ward of Springfield, OH; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters Beatrice Roe, Jeanne Price and Jewel Killworth; three brothers Jim, Carl and Marvin Hamby.
Calling hours will be held 6-8pm on Thursday May 19, 2016 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday May 20, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Dresden Cemetery.
