Jacob Bennett Obituary
Corning - Jacob E Bennett, 27, of Corning, passed away on Friday May 7, 2021 at his home.
He was born on January 4, 1994, in Zanesville. He is the youngest son of Rodney and Christina (Wesney) Bennett of Corning.
Jake was employed as an operating engineer with Union Local 18. Jake was known as "the Man", an awesome Uncle, King of the one liner, a movie buff, and a great chef. He was always up for anything with his buddies; fishing, golf, working out, and kayaking. He had a HUGE HEART and was loved by all because he loved all.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother Rodney (Jackie) Bennett, sisters La Christa Bennett and Ayrie Bennett, grandparents Rodney and Doris Wesney, Gary and Sandy Bennett, and Al and Donna Sealover.
Nieces and nephew, Nathan Allen Bennett, McKenzie Lynn Bennett and Annalee Brooke George, and tons of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jake was preceded in death by his uncles, Gary Bennett Jr., and Eric and Eren Wesney.
Friends may call anytime from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday May 12th at the home of his grandparents Rodney and Doris Wesney, 9634 Portie- Flamingo Rd. SE Corning, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday May 13th, 2021 at his grandparent's home, with the Rev. Kenneth Teter officiating.
Jacob will be laid to rest at Whipstown Cemetery.
