Joseph Donelson Obituary

EAST FULTONHAM: Joseph F. Donelson, 81, of East Fultonham, died at 11:07 a.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Adams Lane Care Center.
He was born December 12, 1928 in Summersville, WV. He was the son of the late Marion and Velmer Brown Donelson. He lived in this area for 39 years; served in the US Army from July 23, 1947 thru June 5, 1950; he retired from Newark Air Force Base, and had also been a coal miner, farmer and truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith Donelson; four children, Frank E. (Katrina) Donelson of Zanesville, David L. (Cathy) Donelson of Zanesville, Rose M. (Zearnie Miller) Donelson of Zanesville, and Kandie L. (Harold) Elson of Mt Perry; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Okey Donelson of Kent, OH, and Gene Donelson of Michigan; one sister, Myrtle Schupper of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Virginia Donelson and Agnes Donelson.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Dr., White Cottage, OH. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fultonham Cemetery.
