Karen S. Rosenberg
NEW LEXINGTON: Karen S. Rosenberg, 66 of New Lexington died Friday, October 4, 2013 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born December 1, 1946, in Zanesville the daughter of John & Elsie (Dickerson) McMillan. Karen was a graduate of Muskingum Area Technical College and received her Master's Degree in Public Relations from Franklin University.
She served as an executive with MCI and following moved to Houston, TX where she taught school for seven years. She was a licensed pilot and owned a clothing shoppe in New Concord called the Mousetrap.
In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by one daughter: Stacey & Doug Eveland of Zanesville; one son: Curtis & Anita Wolfe of Houston, TX; four granddaughters: Stevie & Sydney Baldwin and Ashley & Avery Wolfe; two sisters: Brenda McMillian of Lancaster and Kim Halsey of Newark and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, John McMillan.
The family will receive relatives and friends for 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, October 7, 2013 at The Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, at the funeral home with Rev. Stanford Short officiating. Burial will follow in New Lexington Cemetery.
