DARWIN, AUSTRALIA: Kenneth E. Richardson, 63, of Australia, formerly of Crooksville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Darwin, Australia after a courageous battle with cancer.

Ken was born May 24, 1950 in Zanesville, the son of the late William G. and Ruth Carol (Shuster) Richardson.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ruth and Matt Harmon of Hebron; his granddaughter, Adelaide Harmon; his brothers, Jim Richardson of Georgia and Bob (Jan) Richardson of Hilliard; his sister, Glenola (Jeff) Harris of Crooksville; nieces and nephews, Amy Harris, Lori Wilson, Jimmy Richardson, Billy Richardson and Joshua Harris; great nieces and nephews, Cooper Richardson, Audrey Wilson, Porter Richardson, Noah Richardson, Aiden Wilson and Garrett and numerous friends.

A caring cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Australia at a later date.

I just returned to Australia from a trip back to the USA and heard the news of Ken's passing. We played many a game of basketball together and you could help but respect his passion for the game.

Kenny was an integral part of the basketball team at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, when I coached there. I am sorry to hear about his illness and his passing.

We were so sorry to hear of Kenney's death.
There are so many memories of watching him play ball. My Dad (Charlie Weaver) and I went to Columbus with your parent's to watch him play.
