CORNING: Paul E. Barron, Sr., 64, of Corning died at 9:07pm on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.

Paul was born July 15, 1949 in Zanesville, Ohio to Geneva Barron Dawson.

Paul attended Millertown Church of Christ in Christian Union; he loved to fish, work on cars and was an Ohio State Basketball fan. He also loved his dog, Daisy.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Cathy Cox Barron of the home; mother, Geneva Dawson; 1 daughter, Shona (Todd) Pierce; 1 son, Jason (Cerlessa) Barron; very special grand-daughters, Tessa and Kylie Pierce; great grandson, Brantley Pierce; sister, Debi (Don) Pingle, all of Corning; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; special friends, Ann and Elmer Glanemann, Elmer, Jr., Wilda Willison and family, along with many other friends.

Preceded in death by his very dear friend, Son Willison.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Roberts-Winegardner Funeral Home, 304 Mill Street, New Lexington Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the funeral home with Reverend Ernie Eing officiating. Burial will be in Millertown-Oakwood Cemetery in Millertown, Ohio.

Cathy/family. Sorry to hear of Paul's passing he was a long time friend and neighbor .had so many goodies in a childhood .didn't find out til late Thursday evening of his passing or I'd been to his showing.Paul was always there to lend a hand to anyone he new .Paul was more like a big bro .to me and will be missed by all who new him.
