Ruth Ileen (Hiles) Naragon
ROSEVILLE: Ruth Ileen (Hiles) Naragon, 94, of Ironspot, entered the land of her Lord on November 13th, 2013 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville.
She was born in Ironspot, on June 27, 1919, a daughter of the late Guy C. Hiles and Dessie L. (Rollison) Hiles.
She was a lifelong resident of Ironspot, and the first baby girl to be born there. Ruth was a 40-year employee of Robinson- Ransbottom Pottery Co. and retired in 1989. She was a devoted mother and adored her grandchildren. Ruth was a loving companion and caregiver to her sister, Jean, and remained a faithful and devoted servant to her Lord, reading her bible daily. She enjoyed the company of family and friends in her home and spending time in her back yard, watching the garden grow. Over time, she nurtured many dogs and cats who wandered in, looking for a second home. Ruth will be greatly missed.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Roseville, and is survived by a son, Thomas, and his wife, Mona, of Lisbon Falls, ME; a brother, Ralph (Dick) Hiles and his wife, Jo, of Lancaster, CA; grandsons, Michael, Matthew, and Mark Naragon and step-grandson, Richard Ellison; granddaughters, Jessica, Jennifer, and Jasmyne Naragon; and nephew, Randy Naragon and his companion, Judy Andrews of Ironspot. She will be sorely missed by her companion and neighbor, Terri Lear, who was a wonderful support to her in her later years.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Naragon and his wife, Joann; sister, Jean Naragon; and brothers, Guy, Robert and William Hiles.
