Terrence E. "Terry" Bernard
CORNING: Terrence E. "Terry" Bernard, 72, of Corning, passed away Thursday October 3, 2013 at the Genesis Morrison House, Zanesville.
He was born March 9, 1941 in Corning the son of the late Jay and Barbara "Babs" Lacey Bernard.
He was the owner/operator of TB Drilling, was a faithful volunteer at the Southern Local Food Pantry and enjoyed Bluegrass music and performing bluegrass gospel with a group friends for local residence.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Wilson Bernard; son, Terry (Becky) Bernard JR; daughter, Sonia (Tim) Alfman; step-son, Robert (Kelly) Froelich; granddaughters, Morgan Bernard, Karie and Sarah Alfman; step-grandsons, Evan and Dylan Froelich; brothers, Tim (Bonnie) Bernard, Sr. and Michael Bernard; sisters, Mary Ann (Clyde) Hill, Barbara (Curt) Bragg and Judy (Ted) Stimmel; numerous nieces and nephews; very special friend, Rev George Hughes.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm on Monday October 7, 2013 at the Oakfield Wesleyan Church with Rev George Hughes and Rev Dan Hinkle officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Corning
Friends may call from 2-6pm on Sunday October 6, at the J. E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street, Shawnee.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Local Food Pantry, Corning.
