Wesley Untied

Frazeysburg - Wesley M. Untied, 81, of Frazeysburg, Ohio passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.

Born October 12, 1938 in Newark, Ohio he was the son of the late Gerald C. Untied, Sr. and Etta Eileen (Jennings) Untied. Mr. Untied was a 1956 graduate of Frazeysburg High School. He retired after a 30 plus year career as a truck driver with B. & L. Motor Freight of Newark and Complete Auto Transit of Moraine. In his retirement he enjoyed being on the farm and raising Angus cattle.

Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judy A. (King) Untied whom he married September 27, 1958; a daughter, Lori (Doug) Lewellen of Nashport; two sons, Scott (Sue Anne) Untied of Kingsland, Texas and Wes (Cathy) Untied of Granville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Oshann Lewellen, Shania Lewellen, Vince Untied, Elizabeth Untied and Alexandra Untied. Also surviving are two brothers, Gerald (Eileen) Untied, Jr. of Nashport and Don (Jane) Untied of Frazeysburg; a sister in-law, Linda (Steve) Lacy of Dresden and two brothers in-law, Jim (Judy) King of Nashport and Gary (Bonnie) King of Laurel, Mississippi and a niece, Mandy Lacy of Mt. Perry.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Greg Untied who died December 2, 1992.

A quiet, hardworking and private man, Wesley asked that there be no public services.

To all of Wes' family- though I only met him once, my dad (Ron Cohagen) thought of Wes as a friend, and I only ever heard good things about him. He fought a good fight, and has left behind so many who will continue to think well of him.
