It´s been 15 years, but you are still in our hearts daily, Mel. You would be so proud of your kids. They have grown into caring, responsible adults. Your sister misses you every single day, and it is a testament to how much she loves you the way she has raised the children into adulthood.
Hug your mom for us, we miss her as well, so very much.
Love,
Susan

To Melonie in Heaven,
I find it difficult to realize that it has been two and a half months since you left this earthly plane of existence. I still miss you every day, I miss sending you emails and receiving them from you. I miss your smile and infectious laughter. The Medical Examiner's report indicated it was a blood clot and there was nothing anyone could have done, but we all still wish there had been some way to delay your departure until you'd reached the ripe old age of about 120 or so. You were just far too young and too dear to so many people. We all miss you and we will all love you always.
Love from your cuz,
Susan

To All Who Knew and Loved Melonie-
I am in shock this morning, learning of Melonie's passing. My prayers are with her family and children.
For those, like me, who were customers first and then friends over years spent stamping or scrapping, the loss is huge. The community created by someone like Melonie encourages creativity and sharing of ideas, happy thoughts and sometimes serious concerns. We meet with supplies in hand at her table, but often found ourselves supplying each other with comfort, support and parenting tips. I will greatly miss those times and our dear hostess who made them possible.

Aunt Mary, Cheryl, Brittany, Robert and Tom.
I am still in shock after receiving word from Cheryl about Melonie's passing. We grew up as first cousins, but our feelings were more like brothers and sisters. I remember so much about our lives from the beginning when we were kids and then spending that summer with you in Florida. We got closer when you moved back to Illinois, but as fate would have it, you moved again, this time to the Phoenix area. We haven't been able to spend much time together over the past few decades, but we made up for it this past summer while you stayed at our place for the family reunion. So many years have gone by and were suddenly brought back by some of our many conversations late into each night. I am so happy we were able to catch up before your untimely passing.
Go with God my sister...until we see each other in paradise, remember I love you.

What a smile. Melonie Always had a smile for you. I meet her when we went to Chaparral High school. We all had fun at the 30 year reunion and will always remember her for her very soft, kind soul. We will have a reunion someday in heaven. My God be with all of her family. We will miss her.

Dear Cousin Mary, Cousin Cheryl, Robert, Brittany and Tom,
Although we only know a few hints about your lives, from Melonie's yearly newletters and my infrequent visits to the States, we too cannot properly express our sorrow at your great loss. May you find some comfort, if possible, in all the words written here by your family and friends, and know we all are thinking of you, supporting you with our thoughts and prayers. And may you know no more sorrow.
Your family in Israel

Melonie, You were like a sister to me. I will never forget all the wonderful times together. I remember when we use to try to figure out who would be the first to get married or the first to have kids but never talked about who would be the first to go to heaven. Mel you are so missed. The years took us seperate ways But I never stopped thinking about you and loving you. You were always the happy one so pleasent to be around. Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

I was so sad to hear the passing of Melonie. She was such a sweet and loving friend to everyone who knew her. I knew Melonie through Stampin' Up. She was such a creative and artistic person who had a love for her craft and the willingness to share her passion with others. Melonie's love for life and her children will be missed. She was an inspiration to us all. I know her children will always know how much she loved them. Her precious scrapbooks will speak that love forever to them. God Bless.

I was very saddened to learn the news of Melonie's passing. She was such an Angel to so many especially children. My daughter adored her as her girl scout leader and the Mother of Brittany a very close friend of Sarah's, my daughter. My hear goes out to Brittany and Robert. They were given a monumental start in life by being the children of an extraordinary woman.

To all of Melonie's family...
My deepest and truest sympathies to all of you on the loss of Melonie. Melonie & I went to five Stampin' Up conventions together, planned many stamp camps, and did many group meetings. What I loved about Melonie is that she was so giving and caring, a great listener, and a dedicated friend. She was a fantastic person, and I will always remember her goodness.

Melanie and I become friends when we first met seven years ago at Zuni. Our kids have attended school together since Kindergarten. Melanie was one of the best people I have ever met. I am a better person for having know her. She was a giving, caring, loving and graceful women. Being a mother to Robert and Brittney was her proudest accomplishment. I will greatly miss her.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Melonie's untimely death.
I met Melonie several years ago through our common love of rubber stamping. I was fortunate to share a room with her at a SU! convention. We spent hours sharing thoughts about life and family.
I will remember her infectious laugh, her accepting nature and her willingness to be of service to others.
My thoughts and prayers go to her children and family.

I met Melonie through her sister Cheryl 20 years ago. The memory that always comes first to mind is: I was living with Melonie & Cheryl when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter and one Saturday morning while Cheryl was sweating to an exercise tape in the living room Melonie and I sat in the dining room and ate an entire box of cereal for breakfast and if I remember correctly it wasn't something healthy. I think Cheryl's exercise made us really hungry. Melonie was one of those friends that even if you haven't talked to her for awhile the conversation always picked up like you saw her yesterday. Melonie stood by me when I was going through some difficult personal problems years ago even though I know she did not agree with some of my decisions she accepted the outcome because I was happy. And to me a true friend is someone who is always there when you need someone to talk to no matter how long you’ve been out of touch, does not judge you for your choices in life, someone you can cry with and laugh with and I will always consider Melonie one of my truest friends.

Dearest Robert, Brittany, Mary, and Cheryl,
Our hearts ache with yours. Melonie brought so much love and cheerfulness to this world, and she was always ready to help anyone. At first I thought only of how the world would be less bright without her, but then I thought of her devotion to Robert and Brittany, and how it is a beacon for moms everywhere. I know her Light is shining down from Heaven lighting your path even now, Robert and Brittany, sheltering you from harm.
Mary, I cannot imagine the pain of losing your child, there are no qualifiers, and you have all my love and support. Every time you see a bird fly across the sky, I hope you will see Melonie's love flying to greet you.
Cheryl, to lose your sister, confidante, and best friend so soon is unthinkable. So go ahead, talk to her. I know she's holding my Dad's hand, and listening.
You are all surrounded by loving family and friends, and that, I pray, coupled with your strong faith in God, will help you get through this very difficult time.
With love from your cousins,
Susan and Jimmy
