I am shocked. I was just asking your mom about you a few weeks ago in Walmart. I remeber subing in your classes at school. You use to make me crazy with the attitude and then I saw you after graduation, what a terrific young man you turned out to be. We never understand when something like this happens to someone so young, the only thing we know for sure is God has a purpose and a plan for everything. My prayers truly go out to your entire family, and we can only hope that everyone will take comfort in knowing that you are with Jesus.

Matt, as i sit here thinking of all the good times we had together and the times we spent together in iraq i am truly sad. The world lost a truly great guy, but i think more into it and one day i know we will meet again so we can stand our post together at the pearly gates. you will be missed by all. My heart aches so much that your gone but what an amazing day it will be to see you in heaven with our creator. Mary, Susan and Jennifer, my heart goes out to you at this time. You will be in my prayers. With my deepest sympathies,

Matt, I am always gong to miss the camping trips all of use to take into the freezing mountains getting stuck in the mud and body-snow-sliding. What fun we used to have in our adolescent high school years haha. I look forward to when we all get to see you again in Heaven and enjoy those time again and camp out on the streets of gold. Love you bud
