To the Dooley Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. I have many happy memories of life at the Dooley residence. Dr. Dooley ( of course it took me years get that right, seems i always felt the need to call him Mr. instead of Dr.) And he never corrected me.... bet he loved that! I will always remember that wonderful smile of his, he always light up the room. I'm hoping to see you all at his service, but if by chance I don't make it , please know that I am thinking of you all. Sincerely, Peggy Ganey Hicks

Dear Mary and family,

I was so sorry to hear about Al's passing. Tom and I always thought very highly of Al, and we know you will miss him dearly. Losing a brother and a husband within just weeks has to be hard, but I feel Tom and Al are together in heaven and at peace. If there is golf in heaven, they will be playing.

Love,

Nancy Kelly (Musso-Longo)

Dear Dooley Family,
The great Doctor was a wonderful man on every front. My Dad has been telling the story from when Al & Mary first moved to E. Genesee St and were having a dinner party (of which my parents never missed!) and he received a call from a patient in Ithaca with some very severe allergy issues. Al quietly excused himself from his own party, drove to his patient to make sure he had done all he could and arrived back home to do the dishes...
God has a wonderful angel.

To the Family of Dr. Dooley,
My Dad was one of Dr. Dooley's first patients and when my son was in the hospital at the age of 18 months he agreed to see him as a favor. I am forever grateful to Dr. Dooley as he saved my son's life with prompt medical treatment and diagnosis and he made an exception to take on my son at that young age as a patient. He continued to treat my son and even I was his patient for a number of years. He was a very caring individual and a wonderful doctor. He helped me tremendously when my son was in the hospital over and over again and taught me how to take care of his asthma as he got older. I am very sorry for your loss. I will always have fond memories of him and he will be dearly missed.

Dear Mary and Family,

I remember Doc Dooley from some of the ole parties at Albany Med. I believe you used to "help" babysit me at times... but that was MANY years ago. I remember visiting you when my mom (Marian) and my Dad (Jerry) used to stop by your house when we drove to Auburn to see our relatives. I have MANY pleasant memories of your family. I just want you to know that your loss is our loss too, and our DEEPEST condolences are sent from my family to yours. I am sorry we haven't kept in contact.

With faith and love,
The Austin's
