Dear Jackie and your entire family
I don't really know how to expres in words how much Bill will be missed. I have known all of you for so many years; in so many capacities. Bill was my Chem Prof
in 1965. He was great then and just got better. He really cared and helped. Bill's dedication to his family and students is a special tribute to his greatness. I know, Jackie, that his loss to you is earth shattering. I also know that you will carry on his memory with grace and that you will be ok. I'll never forget a comment he made one day. He said " I'm not worried,Jackie will take care of it". Of course you did and you will.

With great regard for you, your children and the entire O'hara Family

Bill and Jackie have always been so kind and generous to me throughout my life. I have been so grateful to be Ted O'Hara's stepdaughter and equally grateful to have Jackie and Bill as family. They will always and forever be my step-aunt and uncle. Bill's loss was so sudden and unexpected, and my husband and I are so sorry for the loss. You will never meet kinder, warmer people.

Not only was I able to get to know Professor Komanecky on a more personal note, (as he was a close friend of my family's), but I was also in his Chemistry class, and feel very honored to have gotten the chance to have him as a professor. He was always willing to help if you didn't understand something, and is by far my favorite professor. He will be greatly missed, and in our hearts forever. God bless Mrs. Komanecky, and his family.

Jacquelyn and family, Our prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family at this time for your loss. Bill influenced untold number of people during his career at ACC. Both myself and my wife were students of his. We consider ourselves fortunate that we were with you and Bill last Saturday at Cornell. My last picture of him was one of him having a good time with friends and family with a big smile on his face.

Jackie and family, As you remember I was in college at ACC with you and Bill at the old James Street School. We all viewed it as a wonderful opportunity to get a college degree that would get us into jobs and then get to have a real life. Bill certainly achieved and led a wonderful life. You were both blessed to have found each other and to get to do so many successful things that I hope you'll write a book about it some time. Ward O'Hara and Bill were both wonderful gentleman to have had as your focal point for so many years. I'm sure it makes you proud to just sit down look out the window and count your blessings because you surely have had them. Good luck with the rest of your time on earth. Ray
