Dear family and Charlie, I am missing Janet when I think of her laugh and her joy when she saw anyone and everyone who has been a part of her life. She has a unique style about her and always will. I know your in good hands there and finally at peace with contentment and at ease which you so deserve. The hard part is missing you here. My love and strength always to the family. Ann Hamilton

oh boy where to start!? Jim L. says it pretty well for me---For over 40 years Janet has been a touch stone for me---a harbor to spend a night or two with on my way through---a genuine character that always was there in good humor, no matter how late the hour and random the phone call--to her family and friends: I embrace you in celebrating our loved and cherished one--'star light star bright'----steve porten

In most of the entries in this book you will find someone saying how they enjoyed Janet's humor. That is really the way we all think of Janet, with a smile on her face. And now all the angels will be smiling too and spending their time with Janet. Wait for us Janet, we'll all be along sooner or later. Jeanne

I remember Janet fondly from our Mt. Carmel days. She was a good friend, kind and loving human being. I saw her last about 4 wks ago in Wal-Mart and we chatted about the grandchildren. She did have an easy smile and easy way about her. Our lives are richer from having known her. My condolences to her family and friends. She is a bright shining star. Joanne DeTerlizzi Lamson

Janet, we were aquaintances, not real close friends but commrades of the seventies. Although we were not close, to meet you and to talk to you, any one could see that special quality you had, not many had that special pleasantness about them. Later on in years I'd see you in the grocery store and we'd say hello and I could still see that special something. The world will be a much lonelier place without you. My sincere thoughts are with your family.

Dear Sue and Kathy,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Janet as she lives in my memory as that beautiful little 4 year old who could not wait to go to school like we did..I will always see her in a long white dress with a wreath of roses in her hair, in commemoration of some holiday. She does not need my prayers but I send them for you to help over the hard times. My love to you both. Fran Roach (Wenderlich)

Lee & Sue:

The world has lost a loving, caring person who befriended all. Our family friendship originated with my brother Jim; however, Janet soon became a very close friend to the entire family. She was especially helpful to my mother in her later years, often visiting her, helping around the house, getting groceries and transporting her to numerous doctor appointments. Janet became a genuine member of our family and filled in for my brother and myself during those periods we were not there.

I will always remember the holiday dinners at Janet's house and the picnics in the back yard. I will miss her easy going smile, her caring ways and her love of life. She was a true friend to so many people and her life touched us all!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow.

lee, Sue, Gene and Kathy,

My heart is right there with you all, although I cannot physically be there. I shall miss our Janet dearly. We shared a friendship and a relationship I shall not likely find again in this lifetime.

I loved you, Janet. I loved your mirthful laugh that seemed to emanate from the very soul of the earth itself and flowed forth from you through those eyes as big as saucers and a smile as mischievous as they come.

You were the true earth mother. Your caring and your love got me through many a hard time in this life. We laughed and partied with the best of them and those moments I will especially remember. You were a special person to the Leinen family; to my mother, my brother and especially me. I'll miss you dearly, lady.

Youu are now in a better place. A place where the crystals in the window reflect a particularly beautiful light, where you can fill your lungs freely with the purest of air, and where your legs carry you effortlessly.

Thank you, Janet, for everything. Keep a light on for us. We'll all be along shorty. Till then..
